We founded Home Team Real Estate to provide full service real estate services combined with industry leading technology offered at a great value for our clients. We were with Windermere Real Estate for 11 years and observed the impact the internet has had on the industry that has resulted in more informed buyers and sellers than ever before. Consumers are able to research home values, neighborhoods, schools, shopping, crime rates, and just about anything that is important to them. Gone are the days when real estate brokers controlled the information and doled it out to their clients.

However, the internet and technology have not replaced the need for trusted real estate advisors. You need a real estate professional for more than just opening the door to a home for you to see it. You need a professional to advocate for you through the different contingencies within the contract, coordinating with the escrow and title companies, the lender and the other party’s real estate broker. While the internet has made finding the perfect home easier, the contracts have become more complex and the legal exposure much greater. The laws concerning real estate contracts are constantly changing, the legal requirements for buyers and sellers continue to shift and most people simply don’t have the training, education and expertise to navigate through all of these things without potentially exposing themselves to great liability and/or financial loss.

We are second generation Realtors; our dad owned a small, independent real estate firm in the north end of Seattle while we were growing up. At his memorial we learned from one of the agents who had worked for him that Dad’s nickname at the Northend Broker’s Association (prior to the days of the NWMLS) was Mr. Integrity. We learned from Dad the right was to conduct business and that is to treat our clients with the highest level of integrity.
